Thanks to some asshole, I am now getting spam on my personal email account. The one I only give to friends. So if you are the one who entered my email address into some stupid “tell your friends about this site” link, or if you massmailed a bunch of people and didn’t use bcc:, or if you signed up on some stupid social networking site and told them my email address, fuck you. You are the reason I am just recently starting to get spam on the email address I have had for four years.

Four years, spam free. Now, thanks to some cocksucker too stupid to use email properly or who has no concept of respecting the privacy of others, I am receiving spam.

Shit.

Yeah. Huge family gathering. But it all went well. So far.

As I speak I am sitting in a tux, bowtie, suspenders and yarmulke, about to go downstairs and start ushing. Wish me luck.

I am safe and sound in London, everyone. As expected, net access is patchy. What I didn’t realize is that my phone would refuse to connect to any of the networks here. I suspect it’s because it is locked by Fido. This is supposed to be a world phone… I guess that doesn’t mean what I thought.

Anyway, with any luck I’ll find a way to unlock the phone or something, and I can start moblogging again.

PS: If there are any Fido employees reading this, can you help me out? Let me know if there’s any way I can get this thing working?

I’m leaving for England tonight. I don’t know what my internet connectivity situation will be like, but I suspect it will be decent. In case it’s not, don’t be offended if you don’t hear from me for the next week.

One thing I will not be doing is spending all day, every day, online. I won’t be reading my RSS feeds from Fark, BoingBoing, Slashdot, Reuters or any of the blogs I follow. This means I won’t have much to blog about. However, with my newfound powers of moblog, I will still be able to post a running pictoral commentary on my trip. Woo! Assuming I can do that from the UK. Still, Woo!

Flohdot has hair!

So Flohdot just got back from Costa Rica. She has hair now. I suspect this is just an artifact of her mom trying her darndest to make Floh as fem as possible… But Montreal will butch her back up soon enough :o)

In other news, I’m playing around with the fotoblog features of Flickr. It’s pretty fucking sw33t.

Did you know there is a city in Spain named Bunol, in which is held an annual city-wide food fight? On this day, called ‘Tomatina,’ 130 tonnes of tomatoes are trucked in and the entire town gets pasty. Sounds like a hell of a fun time.
